Full Member: email us and we will send you a Membership Application . Mailing it along with a $75 check or appropriate amount to the address on the form. Please include copies of any supporting documents along with your application.

The Mission of RCPA:
-To unite Psychologists in Richmond County in order to promote Psychology as a profession in cooperation with city, state, regional, national and international associations in Psychology;
-To establish and maintain high standards of proficiency, service , professional and ethical conduct and training in the public interest and welfare;
-To promote freedom of scientific inquiry, teaching, and professional practice;
-To develop concepts, theories, philosophies, principles and program to enhace the practice of psychology;
-To inform and educate the public as to the professional, social and other service roles of psychologist;
-To cooperate with other professional and civic organizations in the planning and utilizing most effectively of psychological constructs and services.
Membership Requirements: .
Members must meet at least one of the following:
1. Possession of a professional licence as a Psychologist granted by The New York State Education Department;
2. Status of Member of Fellow in the New York State Psychological Association or the American Psychological Association;
3. Possession of a doctoral degree in Psychology or its substantial equivalent conferred by a graduate school or recognized standing.
